The barnhouse sits on 97.5 acres of land at the outskirts of forest terrain in bethlehem, new hampshire. Our goal with this project is to uniquely combine a living space and a large barn area into one building. The bottom floor is a wide open space for animal pens, vehichles, work space, a restroom and a glass staircase that leads up to the The residential unit. This living space only takes up half of the second floor. The other half is the mezzanine floor that overlooks the ground level. We wanted to incorporate modern design into such a classic structural piece.
