The 200 Lake Avenue building in Lake Worth Beach is a prime example of a true mid century modern building in built in 1956. The original building style and components were preserved to keep all of the pertinent historical features in tact. The design of a new interior compliments the original design in many ways. While looking at the building many of the elements where restored, repaired and used as originally intended. These items included the sliding operable shutters, terraces, the granite building skin, the aluminum windows, the terrazzo floors and interior stair rails. The interior was complemented with a raw concrete floor, glass walls, minimal fittings and mid century modern art and furniture for décor.
